1. Thank you for having us in your gorgeous home today, we are absolutely smitten with everything, especially those pink tiles! What is your favourite room / space in your house?

I really love the built-in sofa at the front of the cottage. It’s the perfect nook to cosy up and read a book. I can also keep an eye out for the mailman so I can beat him to the doorbell before he wakes up the baby!

2. What is your biggest design tip for decorating a small space?

Definitely custom furniture so you can utilise the space to its full potential. A high-pitched ceiling creates the sense of space and draws your eye upwards, away from the limited floor space. The cliché certainly applies here and light colours make the space feel more open and airy.

3. Which piece do you love the most from your photo-shoot today?

I love the ‘Ariana Cardi’ in soft pink! it’s just like wearing around a cosy blanket!

4. How has your style changed since becoming a mum?

It has to be practical! Good design isn’t just about aesthetics but the balance between looking great and being functional. I used to say this but now I actually believe it!

5. What has surprised you the most about motherhood?

The love you have immediately for a little human and how they instantly consume your entire world. I think for us it put a lot of things into perspective and makes you realise what’s important.

6. What would be your number 1 piece of advice for new mums / mums to be out there?

Run your own race and remember each baby is different and each parent will have their own way of doing things and this is ok!

7. How do you juggle being a mum and running multiple businesses?

The juggle struggle is real! I tend to do a lot of my work while Freddie is sleeping and I need to be extremely motivated which is hard at times. I have a daily checklist and as soon as she’s down I start ticking things off the list. I’m lucky that with our businesses, most of the work can be done at home so I’m able to balance both. If I have a lazy day, it’s extremely hard to play catch up!

8. What do you love most about autumn fashion?

Layers! I love layering pieces and I love the autumn colour palette.

9. Tell us about ‘The Shack’ and how that project came to life?

When we had Freddie it put a lot of things into perspective and an obvious one was spending quality time with family. We live inner city with not much room to run around so we wanted a getaway where Freddie can run all she likes and we can create family memories. My fondest memories are at my grandparents house at the beach and we wanted Freddie to have her own. The shack is really humble and the perfect place to unwind, reconnect and just enjoy each other’s company without the worry of the daily grind!
