Wholesale Coordinator

The Role: 

We are ideally looking for an experienced Wholesale Coordinator to join the team to support and lead our Wholesale Department. However, if wholesale isn’t at the top your expertise, but you have experience in buying/retail/production/sales, then we would love to hear from you.  

After launching Wholesale in 2024, we are rapidly growing the business by expanding our retail stockists around Australia and beyond. In this role, you will be implementing business strategies to further grow the business and brand awareness. Your experience in Wholesale, sales, fashion and marketing will play a crucial part in this role. Product development and garment knowledge would be an added bonus. We are looking for a talented creative who is like-minded, passionate and proactive with a strategic mindset. This pivotal role will see you working alongside our founder, internal team members, external retail owners, IT and freight companies. You will be responsible for developing relationships with our key partnerships whilst ensuring our products are represented in line with our brand vision.

Key Responsibilities: 

Wholesale Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of the wholesale strategy to support the growth of Feather & Noise. 

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partnerships, including external retail owners, buyers, tech support companies and freight. Act as the main point of contact for retail partners, offering support and ensuring alignment with F+N’s brand and objectives. 

Sales Leadership: Oversee the sales performance of wholesale accounts, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure targets are met and exceeded. Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and improving existing partnerships. 

Brand Representation: Ensure that F+N’s collections are represented accurately and consistently across all retail touchpoints, maintaining brand integrity and aligning with the brand’s vision. 

Market Expansion: Work with the team to expand F+N’s presence in existing and new markets, focusing on expanding the wholesale network across Australia and internationally.  

Reporting & Analysis: Track sales, inventory, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to leadership and identifying areas for improvement and growth. 

Product Development: Collaborate with internal teams on product development and garment feedback, ensuring products meet the needs of retail customers and align with market trends. 

Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with the internal team (design, marketing, warehouse, production, etc.) to develop strategies that align with overall company objectives. Ensure smooth communication and a cohesive approach across all departments. 

Self-Motivation & Independence:A strong work ethic, the ability to work autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

Ideal Candidate: 

Experience in wholesale and sales with a strong track record in managing and growing wholesale accounts. 

A strategic, proactive approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills. 

Administration skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Canva, Instagram. 

A deep understanding of the fashion industry, trends, and retail dynamics. 

Marketing/social media skills is highly advantageous in this role. 

Confidently able to present new collections to retail buyers. 

Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and lead a team effectively. 

Passion for the fashion industry and a strong alignment with the F+N brand. 

Knowledge of product development and garment production would be highly beneficial.
